Over the years, we tried different ways to raise money to sustain the work we do at choa. Most recently, this included an attempt at Patreon, but truthfully and unfortunately, after a lot of preparation, it did not land as the long-term solution we thought it would be for us. Patreon or otherwise, fundraising is hard!
There are many things that happen behind-the-scenes to run a platform like choa, and it is expensive, even for a smaller, indie publication like ours.
We need $3,000 to continue to sustain choa for the next two years and your help to raise this amount by May 5th (extended!). Below is our budget breakdown, so you know exactly where your dollars are going.
